Blackberry Observations (2009)

"Camberwell has enclaves of the privileged, the smug and self satisfied... a ghetto of the elite. 1968, Camberwell was very mixed but over time it has become segregated, lawyers, rich men and serious people have moved in.

When I moved here, the house was a ruin. The tramps living in the shell left us bottle of wee. The area has changed for the worse, there's a large divide between rich and poor, there's a constant tide of new people.

There's a man on Camberwell Grove who is very well informed who will talk to you if you like it or not. The man who goes about and paints over graffiti. The black lady painted white like the living sculptures on the south-bank.
It's because of the Maudsley, care in the community, a refyge of desperate people"
